The Student Support Office is staffed by Victoria Fletcher and Stacey Murphy who provide assistance to Flying Start and TEE students.
Student Support aims to assist students in every way we can. We try to identify students who may be at risk of not achieving their educational goals and intervene before problems become too great. This can mean helping students organise their timetables, assisting them with study skills, helping them find a better balance between study, employment and personal life and helping them with problems regarding accommodation and transport.
Often, the Student Support Office is the first place a student will head; for general advice, for important information on exams, university and TAFE application dates, for information about study skills and personal development courses and for recommendation to other people who can assist them, for example, the Counsellor.
Students are invited to “drop in “and have a chat, or, they may be referred by their lecturers. Whatever the reason, when you come to the Student Support Office, we are delighted to meet you and help you in any way we can.
