Tuart College Councelling
The Counsellor at the College provides a variety of support and advice
services to staff and students.
As a qualified school psychologist she is able to make recommendations about appropriate resources which are available in the community and educational settings.
The Counsellor gives advice about subject choices which are appropriate to careers and post-secondary educational courses.
As the College has an adult ethos, the Counsellor prefers to deal directly with individual students rather than intervene between parents and students.
Confidentiality is important in the Counsellors' role and information which is given is only passed on at the request of the individual student or staff member.
